This week the team at clean 'N' Seal have been wood floor sanding Bath.
We have helped to refurbish the Pultney Arms public house in Bath.
We were contacted by the landlord to help them give the pub a new lease of life and wanted wood floor sanding bath being done. After discussion about what can be achieved we decided to stain the floors in the bar and snug areas plus the dining area on the first floor.
The pine boards have been sanded to 120 grit with our Lagler and festool equipment, we have found that over the years that these are the superior floor sanding equipment
The pub floors have taken a battering over the years from locals and Bath Rugby supporters who have enjoyed the great hospitality that the Pultney Arms has to offer.
The pine floor boards were in a very bad way, with some boards in a state of disrepair, but our team have delicately sanded them back and given them a new lease of life.

By corresponding with our client the decision to use Morrells Jacobean stain and Pall Extreme lacquer from Pallman, this lacquer is extermely hard wearing.
Working in a closed environment with other trades doing their work has been a challenge as always, but making sure the pub is open again to the public being paramount everyone pulled together and helped eachother out when needed.
The wood floor sanding Bath had its tests as usual, we never know what we will find once we start wood floor sanding as the floor may have broken boards, loose boards or even wood worm.
We changed a few broken boards and repaired a couple of others to make the floor sound.
Once the floor was sanded back we applied the Jacobean stain from Morrells. this gave all the floors an amazing dark finish that everyone was happy with.
The results speak for themselves and everyone involved agreed the floors look absolutely stunning and fit with the modern day decor of the Pultney Arms, which is in fact been a public house in Bath since 1759.
